Quran Recitation Session Held in Mecca for Iranian Sunni Hajj Pilgrims

IQNA – A Quran recitation sessions was held for Sunni Hajj pilgrims from Iran in the holy city of Mecca Wednesday morning.

The Iranian Quranic convoy’s Tawasheeh group performed Tawasheeh songs in a Quranic program in Mecca on June 11, 2025.

 

A number of members of Iran’s Quranic Convoy for Hajj, known as the Noor Convoy, were present at the event.

Qari Mehdi Salahi recited verses from the Holy Quran and members of the convoy’s Tawasheeh group performed Tawasheeh songs.

More than 86,000 Iranians took part in this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, which concluded in Mecca on Monday.

Iran also dispatched a group of Quran activists in the form of the Noor Convoy to organize Quranic programs for pilgrims during the Hajj season.
